As we head into the final six weeks before the Flying Pig Marathon, we'll be updating you weekly on the latest information to get you prepared for the Pig! In this week's edition of the Squeal:
April 4th is the next cutoff date for a price break on your signup fee. After April 4th, the full price jumps to $80 for Marathon registration, $65 for the half marathon presented by National City, $40 for the Papa John's 10K, $30 for the Flying Pig 5K presented by girls!CAN and $15 for the Flying Piglet Fun Run. Sign up now by registering online or calling 513-721-PIGS. ALL MAIL-IN REGISTRATIONS MUST BE POSTMARKED BY MONDAY, APRIL 4.
Want to be right next to the finish line for the best seat in the house, plus have breakfast at the same time? B&B Riverboats also is providing the Flying Pig Marathon with its own riverboat, the "Belle of Cincinnati," which will be parked along the Serpentine Wall next to the Marathon finish line! Tickets to board the boat, breakfast included, are $25 each. Call 513-721-PIGS for information.
The Flying Pig Marathon's annual Pasta Party is back, with a new location and a new look! This year's dinner will be at the former Applebee's restaurant at Covington Landing, where runners can see the start AND finish lines from the comfort of their dining tables! There are two seatings, 4:30 p.m. and 6 p.m., and tickets will be sold at the Expo, or order them with your registration.

The Flying Pig marathon is still looking for volunteers to keep the Pig running smoothly. If you're not running, you can be one of the 3,000+ volunteers working on Saturday or Sunday. If you can sign up, e-mail Mary Enzweiler at mary@flyingpigmarathon.com for information and assignments.
